Terms of Service for WheelClick

The short version: the free tier is free forever, the trial is how you decide, and a purchase is yours for good. The rest of this page says that in more words.

What WheelClick is

WheelClick is a macOS utility (macOS 13 or later) made by Arthur Ginzburg. Three-finger click and three-finger tap — the middle click — are free forever, with no account and no time limit. Everything WheelClick adds on top (fn+Click, Force Click, Magic Mouse gestures, the plugins, per-app rules) is unlocked by a one-time purchase.

The trial

Every install starts with a 14-day trial of the full feature set — no account, no card, nothing to cancel. When it ends, the paid features pause and the free tier keeps working, unchanged, indefinitely. The trial exists so you can find out whether WheelClick earns its price before paying it.

Your license

$4.99 once — no subscription, and updates are included. A license is personal: it covers the Macs you yourself use, not a whole office. A key bought on this site carries an activation limit; the customer portal shows your key and frees the slot of a Mac you no longer use. Please don't share, resell, or publish license keys, and don't work around the licensing — the free tier is the honest way to use WheelClick without paying.

The App Store version is the same app with the same price: the purchase is tied to your Apple Account, moves to a new Mac via Restore Purchases, and is additionally covered by Apple's standard licensed-application terms.

Purchases and refunds

Purchases on this site are processed by Polar as the merchant of record — they handle the checkout, receipts, and applicable taxes, and their terms apply to the payment itself. If a purchase didn't work out, email support@wheelclick.app and a human will sort it out. Refunds for App Store purchases are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com.

The honest disclaimers

WheelClick is provided as is. It is built and tested with care, but no software is warranted to be free of defects, and macOS itself changes underneath every utility like this one. To the extent the law allows, liability for any claim connected to WheelClick is limited to what you paid for it. Nothing here limits rights that consumer law grants you regardless of what a terms page says.

Changes

These terms may be updated as the app evolves; the current version always lives at this address. A change here will never take away what you already paid for — a purchased license keeps unlocking the features it bought.
